From now on we’ll be podcasting the LMC meetings. We’re aiming to have tonights recordings up tomorrow at some point, so watch this space if you missed the meeting or want to recap what was discussed.

The second LMC meeting will be held on Monday 13th December 2010 at Firebug bar.

Our guest speaker will be Richard Haswell, previously well known for organising the Summer Sundae Festival and running DeMontfort Hall. He is now involved with Nottinghamshire’s Headstock festival, amongst many other things.

If you wish to attend feel free to just show up, but it’d be great if you could drop us an email in advance to let us know so we can provide ample biscuits.

One of the most discussed aspects of the first LMC meeting was the need for a central physical listings flyer available around the city. We’ve produced an A5 leaflet with listings for all the major venues in the city.

The LMC Music Guide is now available in printed form in shops, bars, venues, cafes and information stands across the city. It contains listings for The Donkey, Firebug, Lock 42, The Musician, O2 Academy, Sub 91, Sumo and The Y.
